The Central Virginia Academy for Nonprofit Excellence (CVANE) and the Academy Center of the Arts invite you to an informative, open discussion about nonprofit finance.

Academy Executive Director Cyrus Pace will lead the conversation, sharing guiding principles and insights on the following topics:

• The primary challenges of measuring financial success in the nonprofit sector

• Translating financial concepts among different stakeholders

• Defining and demystifying “surplus” and “deficit”

• Using short-term financial pressures to develop long-term strategies

This discussion is designed for board members, nonprofit staff, supporters, and anyone interested in better understanding the financial challenges and opportunities facing nonprofit organizations.
