Horn of Plenty: Everlasting Autumn Centerpiece Workshop

About this event

Give the traditional Thanksgiving cornucopia a sculptural, lasting twist.

In this hands-on workshop, floristry instructor Jon-Logan Jones of @floristryseekingroots will guide you through creating an abundant centerpiece with dried and preserved botanicals sourced from Hannah Ricciardi of Lavare Farm , flower farmer in Goode, Virginia.

Gather at Palmera House to learn the fundamentals of dry-arrangement mechanics, structural balance, and styling. You’ll leave with a finished cornucopia designed to grace your Thanksgiving table and remain a beautiful tabletop feature through winter and for seasons to come. Since the materials are dried and preserved, your arrangement needs no water and won’t wilt.

Your ticket includes:

• A woven cornucopia vessel

• A dry mechanics base

• Dried and preserved botanicals

• A step-by-step styling guidance

• Your finished everlasting centerpiece
