- ➤ Four residents were displaced after a house fire broke out early Saturday at a home on Ardmore Circle in Lynchburg; firefighters responded at 2:20 a.m. and quickly controlled the blaze while a restoration officer helps the family secure temporary housing. WSLS 10
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ The Lynchburg City School Board approved Superintendent Kristy Somerville-Midgette’s proposed budget for fiscal year 2027 (FY2027), which seeks an extra $4.5 million in local funding to support raises, step increases and new positions. The News & Advance
