- ➤ Citizens in Lynchburg marched Saturday for justice for Alex Pretti and Renee Good, who were fatally shot by federal officers in Minneapolis. Hosted by Indivisible Lynchburg, the march began at 10:00 a.m. at the Fifth Street roundabout and ended at the First Unitarian Church with prayer and open mic remarks. WSET
- ➤ Crews began demolishing Miller Park Pool on Jan. 7, 2026, and a new pool is scheduled to open in 2027 at the park. The News & Advance
