One Community One Voice closed out Black History Month yesterday at E.C.

Glass High School with a 'Black history then and now' program that honored the African American community through essays, speeches and dance performances featuring 106-year-old Mildred Carter Rose and a 13-year-old published author.

Cyrus Pace, who led Jefferson Center for 15 years, will finish his role on March 13 and take a new leadership position at Lynchburg's Academy Center of the Arts on April 7 & he said his move offers a fresh opportunity for growth.
