  • WSLS 10 launched Patchwork 250 to share Virginia's 250-year history, featuring Leland Melvin (a Lynchburg native who overcame an NFL setback to fly on Space Shuttle Atlantis) and his work in NASA education programs to inspire young explorers.  WSLS 10

EDUCATION NEWS

  • City Schools held their 20th annual Breakfast with the Superintendent yesterday at U of L, highlighting eight months of progress and a $60 million investment in school infrastructure. The district is finalizing a five-goal plan to boost student learning and school culture that will be shared with the public soon.  WSET
