- ➤ Lynchburg Synagogue enhanced its safety measures to protect congregants following a recent security review. The precautions were announced on Mar. 16 — the measures are now in effect at the synagogue. WDBJ7
- ➤ Lynchburg native Anthony Parnther conducted the Oscar-winning score for the film Sinners, which took home four Academy Awards on Sunday night including Best Score. He honed his musical talents at Linkhorne Middle School and E.C. Glass High School and celebrated the win as a triumph of teamwork. WSET
