- ➤ Community members gathered Saturday for the 18th annual Empty Bowls fundraiser at Joy & Lynch Christian Warehouse Theatre to support hunger relief by benefiting Lynchburg Daily Bread. Hosted by the Academy Center of the Arts, the family-friendly event united residents, artists & volunteers in the fight against hunger. WSET
- ➤ Dog owners now enjoy Blackwater Creek Dog Park at its new athletic field site — designed to prevent flooding damage — featuring separate areas for large and small dogs, agility hoops and more; the former park area became Blackwater Retreat with swings, benches, and a hammock garden for outdoor relaxation.
