- ➤ Residents gathered Monday in Campbell County to learn about a proposed 115-mile, 765-kV transmission line that could cost about $1 billion and serve growing data center needs. - ➤ Lynchburg Regional Airport will offer United Airlines direct flights to Chicago and Washington, D.C. starting Wednesday (Mar. 25). The new service will increase available seats by about 25% to boost travel options. WSET

- ➤ Lynchburg officials said a citywide burn ban was in effect on Monday due to dry conditions & strong winds. The ban suspended controlled burn permits and will be reviewed daily as weather conditions change. WSET
