COMMUNITY NEWS
- ➤ Oakwood Country Club has new ownership under Runk & Pratt Companies, with plans to add a social director and schedule renovations after the busy season while preserving its 1914 history. The club remains open as leaders focus on engaging members — building a stronger community. WSET
- ➤ The Lynchburg Peacemakers are opening a permanent downtown center to offer conflict resolution services and create 22 local jobs, including a sewing factory. They will host a free (family-friendly) community day Saturday to bring residents together. WSLS 10
