EDUCATION NEWS

  • Superintendent Dr. Midgette and board chairman Dr. Gupta are working with the city to pass Lynchburg City Schools' 2027 budget amid a $2.4M shortfall and pending state funding while they seek additional local funds and plan to invest $60M in capital improvements to upgrade schools and support staff and students.  WSET
