Virginia State Police are investigating a crash involving a juvenile on Pleasant Valley Road Saturday evening - officials say more details will be provided as the investigation continues.
A Lynchburg man, 33-year-old Justin Wilson, was arrested on Saturday after police executed search warrants that seized 23 firearms—plus 1,000 rounds of ammunition—from storage units and his home, and he now faces charges related to a probation violation and drug offenses.
A new creative studio opened on Main Street in Lynchburg and offers 24-hour access for members along with pottery-making classes for all skill levels.
The studio also serves as a marketplace where local artists sell their work and pottery supplies are available from Thursday through Sunday.
Lynchburg City Council is accepting applications from residents to fill three seats on the nine-member city school board currently held by Anthony Andrews (District 1), Martin Day (District 2) and Gloria Preston (District 3).
Starting Monday, April 28th, lane closures will take effect on Boonsboro Road, Peace Street, and Wards Road in Lynchburg for maintenance work—motorists should expect minor delays as flagging operations help guide traffic and ensure emergency access.
Boonsboro Road will be reduced to one lane until May 30th, Peace Street’s northbound lane will be closed until May 12th, and work at Wards Road will occur on April 28th and 29th.
