Train riders in Lynchburg now face a modified schedule as departures shift to 9:41 a.m., 10:57 a.m., and 5:40 p.m. due to Long Bridge construction blocking rail traffic from 8:15 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.—a change that makes day trips difficult but will allow expanded service by 2030.
