- ➤ Bedford County Sheriff's Office arrested 44-year-old Timothy Bryant on Saturday, May 3 after public tips guided officers to him near Morgans Mill Road, and he now faces multiple felony charges (grand larceny, felony eluding, hit and run, and driving on a revoked or suspended license). WSET

- ➤ Jeter-Watson Elementary School was recognized by the American Heart Association for raising $3,035 during the 2025 Kids Heart Challenge—earning certificates for the school and top student fundraisers, including Josiah Jordan who received a medal. WSLS 10
