- ➤ Hundreds of motorcyclists, including veterans and patriots, spent the night in Lynchburg after dinner at the local Harley-Davidson as part of the annual Run for the Wall ride— they will reach the Vietnam War Memorial in Washington, D.C. later today to honor those missing, killed in action, and held as POWs. - ➤ Lynchburg Police and the US Marshals Service captured 34-year-old Guy David Irving, who faced multiple warrants including court contempt and firearms charges—he is now held without bond at Blue Ridge Regional Jail Authority. WDBJ7
- ➤ Johnathon D'Keith Poe was sentenced to three life terms and an additional 20 years for attempting to murder three Lynchburg Police officers during a high-speed chase on New Year's Eve 2022—he pleaded guilty to charges that include attempted aggravated murder and firearm offenses. WSET
