- ➤ A 16-year-old boy was arrested in Lynchburg after a high-speed chase on Friday, June 13 — he fled a traffic stop and crashed into a barrier — and police are searching for another suspect linked to a stolen vehicle. WDBJ7
- ➤ Lynchburg Police served warrants on a man on Pierce Street after a call about shots fired near Park Avenue on Saturday evening—after repeated announcements and chemical agent sprays, officers found that he was not in the home. WSET
- ➤ Botetourt County Sheriff's Office arrested a 16-year-old from Lynchburg near Gospel Light Baptist Church by 9:10 a.m. after an attempted traffic stop on Friday turned into an overnight chase when a vehicle speeding at 87 in a 60 zone crashed at a Sheetz construction site along Route 460—officers report a rifle and additional firearms were recovered and a suspect linked to a stolen vehicle remains at large.
