- ➤ A Lynchburg woman was wrongfully detained when her personalized plate was confused with one linked to a stolen vehicle from Texas due to a DMV data error in May, police said. The department is reviewing its process—after recovering over 30 vehicles this year—to help stop similar mistakes in the future. WSET
