- ➤ Bedford County sheriff’s deputies are asking for help to locate Justin Antwan Berger — a Black male who is 5′9″, 250 pounds with balding black hair — who is wanted on several charges for drug possession, firearms violations, and felony eluding. WDBJ7
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Rivermont Lynchburg Leesville is moving to a new site on Leesville Road for students with autism aged 5 to 22. The new building will serve 65 students with eight classrooms, an outdoor playground with a blacktop — and it will be ready by August 18. WSET

- ➤ Salem native Zach Staton, a former local TV journalist, is the new broadcast entertainer for the Firefighters Banana Ball team and will call play-by-play at hometown games this weekend.
