- ➤ Lakisha Mays and her son celebrated the purchase of their first home on Knotts Street with a ribbon cutting that marked Lynchburg’s 320th Habitat for Humanity build—she will pay a no-interest mortgage for 30 years. WSET
- ➤ Lynchburg residents gathered on Main Street Bridge Saturday to display signs reading 'care, not cuts' + 'family need, not billionaire greed' and urged drivers on the expressway and Main Street to honk, showing their support for families affected by federal cuts.
