- ➤ Authorities are investigating the in-custody death of inmate Jonathan De’Keith Poe at the Lynchburg Adult Detention Center — he was taken to Lynchburg General Hospital on Aug. 1 after a medical emergency while serving three life sentences for attempted murder and weapons charges and was pronounced dead Friday morning with his body set for an autopsy in Roanoke.
