- ➤ Lynchburg City Schools announced it will provide free breakfast and lunch each school day for all students under the Community Eligibility Provision this upcoming school year. Families do not need to apply for the meals. WDBJ7
- ➤ The Dollar General Literacy Foundation announced over $65,000 in youth literacy grants statewide, including a $4,000 award to Sheffield Elementary School in Lynchburg to fund books, technology, and other learning materials—part of a nationwide initiative totaling over $3.5 million.
