Joe Hricko, a lifelong flower enthusiast, is leading Lynchburg’s new city greenhouse project to bring local flowers in-house.
The project will use his passion to supply fresh blooms for community events.

Holy Heaven Cookies has secured a permanent location with a drive-thru on Wards Rd., next to Koreanz and in front of Crunch Fitness.
Owner Melissa Dekerlegand will transform the spot into a heaven themed store offering cookies, ice cream, and coffee with a grand opening planned for next month.
Auntie M’s Bakery and Café held its grand opening in Lynchburg on Saturday, offering gluten- and dairy-free donuts in a walk-up setting.
Chef Michaela Buteau said the bakery grew from her own health journey and served nearly 300 donuts with several sold-out flavors.
