- ➤ Jubilee Family Development Center in Lynchburg launched a one-million-dollar campaign to expand its Astronaut Leland Melvin STEM center by adding a 2,100-square-foot extension with five new classrooms—including the Mark Spain Media Center—to boost career training and digital media skills. Dr. Sterling Wilder said the expansion, which offers GED, nurse aide, PCA and cybersecurity classes, has raised about $400,000 so far and will complete fundraising by fall. WSET
