- ➤ A fatal motorcycle accident occurred on Sunday around 8:07 p.m. on the 3100 block in Lynchburg when an adult man was taken to Lynchburg General Hospital and later died from his injuries—police are investigating the scene and ask anyone with information to call Officer Dondero or Crime Stoppers. - ➤ Lynchburg entrepreneur Tim Dantas is set to open a private indoor pickleball club called The Secret Pickle at 3200 Carroll Ave later this year using a country club model with automated reservations and key fob access. Membership will cost about $99 to $110 per month and the project awaits a conditional permit from city council to complete the final 30 to 45 days of setup — community interest and advanced training features support his plan.
