- ➤ Bedford County and Lynchburg will host two major disc golf events in 2026 that are expected to boost the local economy. The PDGA Champions Cup will run at the New London Business & Technology Center from April 9 — 12 while the DGPT Championship will occur at Ivy Hill Disc Golf Course from October 15 — 18. WFXR TV

- ➤ Central Virginia Community College partnered with Liberty University to launch a new Early College Education Cohort for high school juniors interested in pursuing education careers.
