Gleaning for the World has launched a drive to collect clothing, food, toiletries and cash donations to support veterans and show appreciation for their service—donations will go mainly to the VA and will be collected on November 6 and 7 at locations including Harley Davidson in Lynchburg.

A combat veteran and his wife enjoyed their first night in a brand-new tiny home built by Purple Heart Homes in Bedford County on Thursday—Virginia’s first tiny home for veterans that offers running water and modern comforts.
