Huddle House finished its opening weekend in Lynchburg on Sunday and quickly became popular by serving breakfast all day.

Franchise owner Jigar Raval said the restaurant—busy since its Thursday opening—has already attracted many regular customers.

The Amherst County Museum opened its '100 Years of War' exhibit on November 9 to honor veterans—featuring artifacts that document 100 years of military service in the community.

A Friday night reception kicked off the new exhibit, Lynchburg & the Vietnam War, on the second floor of the Lynchburg Museum to honor local Vietnam veterans and their families.

The exhibit will stay on display for the next year.

Lynchburg Mayor Larry Taylor joined Lynchburg Urban Forester Nicholas Meyer and volunteers as they planted 13 trees along the Euclid Avenue side of Miller Park last Friday—committing to greener community spaces.

Lynchburg earned a spot on U.S. News & World Report’s list of the top 10 cities for retirement, noted for its affordable housing and strong community vibe.

City officials said the ranking will encourage retirees to explore local shops—parks, trails and cultural venues in the area.
